24th March 2022

Coriolis Technologies focuses on discovering, inventing, and demonstrating new technologies, tools, and techniques that will simplify the complexities of global trade while improving the industry for all factions. This vision drives our passion, our purpose, and our company strategy. As part of this commitment, we are expanding our management team and are thrilled to welcome Christine Adamson as Coriolis Technologies General Manager. Christine joins us having recently left the Civil Service.  Her impressive experience – most recently as a member of the Directing Staff at the Royal College of Defence Studies – will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand the team and continue to develop trade tools that explore new and exciting areas.

During her 21-year career in the Ministry of Defence, a second career following her return to the UK from France, Christine held a number of positions starting in her home city, Plymouth, and finishing in London. Most recently, as a member of the Directing Staff, her responsibilities included planning and delivery of key elements of the Royal College of Defence Studies course including Term 1 ‘The Global Strategic Context’ and  Study Tours within the UK and overseas.

Prior to this , Christine held several positions within the MOD, including Culture & Language Policy Officer in MOD Whitehall, and EA1 (principal staff officer) to the Naval Base Commander in HM Naval Base Devonport. She graduated in French and German with Politics & Economics, holds the Diploma in Translation awarded by The Institute of Linguists Educational Trust (DipTrans IoLET – a  Masters level professional qualification), is a qualified language trainer and has circumnavigated Great Britain and Ireland in a 26’ sailing boat.

Christine Adamson, General Manager, Coriolis Technologies, said:
“Having recently retired at the end of a mind-expanding 21 years with the Ministry of Defence, I’m excited at the prospect of my role with Coriolis Technologies in this fascinating and fast-paced business”

At Coriolis Technologies, we believe our future success will be determined largely by the investments and innovations we make today in industry research, technology, and our workforce. We are committed to developing a team of experts grown and nurtured by diverse talent across the industry, through which we can make the complex nature of global trade accessible to all. As General Manager, Christine will engage with Coriolis Technologies stakeholders, plan key external programs like the Future of Strategy, and implement key structures and processes for our expanding team.

Welcome to Coriolis Technologies, Christine!
